App Redesign

I sketched out my plan for what feature I wanted the app to have and how I wanted the content to be organized. I thought through the flow of the app here.

I sketched out some Ideas of how I wanted to redesign the logo. I focused mainly on book shapes and all the different ways I could represent the magic of books alongside the type. At this point, I began choosing my favorites and refining them.

I decided on this lettermark concept with abstract book shapes in the negative space of the staggered letters after lots of feedback and consideration. 

I wanted the home page of the TCPL website to be a welcoming landing page/preview for all the library has to offer. The user can easily access the library’s resources and get a glimpse at other services and events without feeling overwhelmed or confused. 

This outdoor sign uses a pattern full of creative icons that represent the library’s services, as well as a quote about reading to attract people to the space.
